Elias Beach on the Mandraki Peninsular, is one of the most beautiful and quietest beaches of Skiathos.

Here you will find sand as fine as Koukounaries, water as shallow as Tsoungria, sand dunes as beautiful as the coast of Holland and a welcome as warm as a hot sunny day.
Ilias who runs the taverna and looks after the beach here, has created a wonderful spot where you can relax in the cooling breezes off the sea, and enjoy the simple but well prepared food he is offering. The menu consists of:

To get to Elias Beach, you can take a beautiful half hour's stroll through the shady woods of Mandraki from the Hotel Caravos at Koukounaries. Or, if you have a car or moped, drive to within 200 metres via the road that leaves the main road above Maratha Beach. This road can also be accessed from the Kounistra Monastery road. Just follow the signs to Mandraki Elias Beach. |
This has to be one of the better places on the island if you are looking for beautiful swimming, peace and quiet, and good food.

2010 sees Ilias's 22nd year on Elias Beach and his taverna has become a favourite spot for tourists and locals alike.
