AGHIA ELENI & KRIFI AMMOS
Getting off the bus at stop 23, just before the end of the line, you can walk over the hill to the beaches of Aghia Eleni and Krifi Ammos on the west side of Skiathos.

There is a good asphalt road to Aghia Eleni Beach which has two beach tavernas on it. There is no water sports school but it is quite a good place for windsurfing once you are off the shore where the wind tends to swirl around a bit. Wind and waves similar to Banana Beach. You can drive right to the beach so there is no problem to bring your own gear.

There is usually a good cool breeze blowing along the length of the beach from the north which helps to keep one cool.

This beach is very popular with families as it is relatively peaceful.

In the evening, as the sun goes down, you get a good view of the sunset from here.
Just before the road ends at Aghia Eleni, there is a dirt road off to the left signposted to Krifi Ammos or Hidden Beach. If you follow this for 1 kilometre, you find yourself above a lovely cove with a small beach and a nice, funky, beach taverna.
There is a little room for parking and it is difficult to turn a car here, but over the past years they have fixed the road that goes on from there, so you can either turn or drive on, until you meet one of the next northern side beaches.
The walk is very nice but steep, and takes about 15 minutes. To get down is not so hard, it is the climb on the way back that will cost some effort, but it is absolutely worth the effort.

STUDIOS AIDONOFOLIES - Offer peaceful relaxation away from the hustle and bustle but within 15 minutes walk of Koukounaries Beach and 10 minutes to the bus stop, shops, tavernas and bars.
